INFO

Technological Dimensions is a group of computer-artists. A computer-artist is an artist who uses the computer to express his artistic message. Regular people tend to call us "Nerds", and yes indeed, we are nerds as well...

We have experienced the good old C64, the Amiga... and now we have entered the world of PC. We have our roots from the C64 and Amiga group C.C.C (the Cool Computer Club)

Our goal is to make the computer more accepted as a tool to create arts, to open up for a new generation of artist and also new artforms.

HISTORY
In 1990, Meac, ZAQ and Mr.L founded C.C.C, the cool computer club, "The Ghost" and "The Psycho" joined us very soon. We were all true C64 fans, and nothing could stop us!
We programmed Basic, and played cool games like:

But one day we thought:
- Hmm, Mr.Z, C.C.S Triad....everybody crack games!
so... we changed the C.C.C to Cool Cracking Club, By this time, C.C.C was split into two smaller groups. ZAQ left us...(RIP ZAQ) We did lots of small demos and pics, with the great C64.
- But then...It's sad, but it's true - the C64 era had its end.

Everybody bought themselves an AMIGA. The Music was fantastic, the graphics was incredible, the whole computer seemed like a GIANT source of Power Back in those days, the AMIGA was the Ultimate Machine! With the AMIGA we started 3DModelling in the program REAL 3D Making 3DPics was great fun, but SLOW. (Amiga 500, only floppydrive..) Later, i got AMOS. Now, I understood what the art of programming really was about.

Here's the incomplete list of AMIGA-games&stuff by C.C.C

Konsum (the demo) Our biggest AMIGA-project, Never finished... never released..
- Konsum part II "introanim"
- Konsum Part II -Demomusic MOD
Meac&Mr.L demo Wonderful Nostalgia Demo, DOWNLOAD IT NOW!
Killer Joe An excellent game with lots of BLOOD, but the mem didn't think so..
- Screenshots
A rotating vector demo Never compiled.. was made to be a part of Konsum..
(its gone! some things just disappear)
The AirWing Demo Simple vector, and vectorball demo (made in Demomaker II, by Meac and The Ghost)
Friendly War Two player vs. game, made in amos.
Plasma-Show Plasma demo, By Meac and Mr.L

--- Thanx to VIKING of Virtual Vision, for the Amiga-PC translation ---

By the time I was ready programming the game Friendly War, the AMIGA had already died, and the worlds new ruler was the 80486 processor!!! YES! my first REAL contact with the PC. Suddenly, the whole world was texturemapped!!! But... the PC-Road was long and hard. Of all the computers that had came and gone over the past years, this was the BIG change! The PC-speaker-sound was pure evil, the sky turned red, the flouvers died, and the people cried out in despair.
-It was about time to buy a soundcard.
- How to install a soundcard.

..To be continued
